Bert is willing to sell a maximum of 5 pounds total at a price of $3.00 per pound today and $2.70 per pound tomorrow. Ernie is willing to sell a maximum of 4 pounds total at a price of $2.90 per pound today and $2.80 per pound tomorrow. Cookie Monster wishes to know what his purchases should be to minimize his cost while satisfying his hunger requirements.

Formulate this problem as a transportation problem by constructing the appropriate cost and requirement table.
Use the northwest rule to find an ibfs. Then use the transportation algorithm to find the optimal solution for this problem. (show your work).
