Contemporary Leadership Overview of Report: Leader profile

A profile and analysis of a business or political leader, applying a leadership theory to explain how they have influenced the lives of others.

1. Choose a business or political leader from the last 100 years

2. Ensure that you use appropriate and quality references for your research - that includes journal articles, e-books and books from the Melbourne Polytechnic Library.

What are appropriate and quality references? Those are scholarly academic resources which are peer reviewed, meaning that they have been scrutinised and evaluated by other experts in the same field in order to ensure accuracy and quality of the content, as well as ensuring it adheres to editorial standards.

Please note that sources such as Wikipedia are not suitable references for your assignments. Although you can look at a Wikipedia page and then check the relevant references at the bottom of the page, be very careful to review the quality of these resources.

3. The minimum number of quality sources you use should be no less than 10.

4. Write your report in your own words - be careful to accurately reference the ideas that you use in your report to the same resources the ideas have come from. Your references and referencing will be checked for accuracy - see the marking rubric for this assignment.

5. Ensure that you include an Executive Summary with your report.
