Consider the foundations of leadership and the traits of effective leaders introduced in this week’s Resources. Reflect upon the following: How would you evaluate your own ability to lead others? What skills, strengths, and competencies do you have to build on that would make you a good leader? What weaknesses do you need to improve upon? How do you approach relationship building and conflict resolution? Of the leadership theories and styles presented, which are most aligned with your current leadership style or a style that you would like to emulate?

1. Write a brief evaluation of your ability to lead others in a workplace environment.

2. Include an analysis of the specific skills and competencies you possess that will enable you to be an effective leader in an organization regardless of the institutional role that you fulfill.

3. Then reflect upon the areas that you feel would serve you best to improve upon.
