Conduct a scan of companies in the news to identify two examples/stories of organizations that have, or are going through, some type of change. You can look at printed sources such as local or national newspapers, online news sources such as CNN or MSNBC or others.

For each example, provide a one paragraph summary of the situation and include a link to the article or information if possible. Then, using Table 3.5 on page 81 of the text, provide a review of what forces you see impacting this situation and why. You will likely see two or more forces for change as well as two or more forces for stability. Provide commentary regarding the change situation and potential outcome based on the forces you see evident in the situation.
