"Conduct a research into the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center towers in New York City on September 11, 2001. The towers were designed to withstand the force of the impact of jetliners like the ones that slammed into them. However, when the steel columns supporting the top floor became so hot from the burning jet fuel that they failed, each successive floor fell on top of the next lower floor, until the entire building had been demolished.
