Recently, companies have required to check educational background, what we learned in a college or graduate school. According to Mutso and Madsen, Educational programs in the human resource field are essential for the attainment of success in the professionalism of human resource. Both the undergraduate and the graduate programs are equally important in the attainment of such success. It is crucial that the students are prepared in a good enough way to ensure that they will offer quality services at their places of work after graduation. This is because students are being prepared to meet the demand in the market for the human resource services. An education in human resources is necessary throughout the working life. While there is not a specific academic or licensure requirement to gain entry to the field, employers should have a combination of formal education when hiring new workers.

Human resource managers should be the most important personnel in an organization because they are in charge of hiring and promoting employees in a company. Preparing for a career in HR needs not only specific qualifications but also skills to remain successful in this field. According to Popa, A manager has various roles that are crucial to his docket in order to achieve his goals and the role given to him as a manager. This calls for the manager to have the highest level of education and various skills in order for him to be able to deliver on his mandate effectively. As much as the manager has various roles, he should determine what tasks to carry out first and ones to carry out later and which order to follow, depending on the urgency and necessity. Individuals who desire to function successfully in HR should take different courses in social sciences, business, for example, sociology & psychology as well as finance.

Therefore, there are various skills which HR managers should have, which are more essential for the managers, and the reasons based on the table.

• Ability to prioritize effectively

Madsen and Mutso stated that "HR Leader should be able to work effectively with other corporate managers." Human resource managers should be creating a good interpersonal relationship so as to build teamwork in a company. Teamwork is encouraged in all organization as it strengthens the relationship between employees and their managers.

• Verbal and written communication skills

For example, strong writing skills lead to clearly understood policies and procedures that drive organizational results. According to Madsen and Musto "the North Carolina Education Association NCAE(2002) listed oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills among their list of top ten skills or qualities employers seek in new employees." HR managers should have the ability to convey their message to the employees and also the management. The instructions they give should be clearly stated and written to avoid confusion.

• Open to diversity

Fox (2002) found that effective leaders fit with the organization's culture. HR managers should be expected to explore the environment that the employees come from so that they will not disrespect the culture that those employees believe. Understanding the diversity will also assist the newly hired employees feel comfortable and cope with the new change.

• Ability to multitask

Madsen explained that "HR requires extensive multi-tasking - the ability to manage and organize tasks by priority is key to Success- the ability to not let the last priority disappear as well." A manager should be able to oversee all the employees, keeping their abilities and weaknesses in mind while prioritizing multiple projects.

• Proper listening skills

According to Mutso and Madsen, the managers are expected to have effective listening skills as part of the overall communication ability in the organization. In addition, the managers are expected to relate well with the other personnel in order to effectively control their roles. Most of the interviewers should require the skill of being a good listener. In order to organize and lead the employees, the manager needs to understand them.

As a result, HR managers are important people, and they should have the best skills so that they can enable the organization to have the best employees and achieve the desired goals. Before an organization hires a human resource manager, the above skills should be observed.

In preparing for a career in human resources, people should get not only skills but also training. My recommendation is to have HRM education. According to Management Study Guide, HRM includes profession arranging, vocation improvement, and development positioning.
