Assignment topic - Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV)
Your boss is pleased with your concept map but wants this to be supported by references that can be linked to solid research. So he wants you to find books, journals and articles that are directly relevant to what you showed on your concept map.
For Assignment 1b, you will need to submit:
1. A modified concept map highlighting which parts of your concept map relate to your references.
2. An annotated bibliography of 5 references (minimum requirements)
o 1 book
o 2 peer reviewed journal articles
o 2 public domain web sites
PLEASE NOTE: you will be assessed on the quality of your references. You will need to review at least 10-15 references in order to choose the best five (5)
3. A Powerpoint presentation in class
The highlighting on the modified concept map can be done any way you choose. For example you could use a different colour to represent a different reference.
The annotated bibliography must use the annotated bibliography template provided on Moodle and complete all relevant cells in the template.
This includes:
- bibliographic reference statements (in text and end text references) using relevant cells in the template and based on the ECU Referencing Guidelines;
- a brief statement outlining the content and purpose of the article (250-300 words)
- a brief summary stating why this article will be useful/important for your research (250-300 words)
The Powerpoint Presentation is a 5 minute presentation to your boss during the class in week 8. He has asked you to brief him about the research you have so far uncovered regarding what specific areas the consultancy will need to provide support and expertise in and why.
