The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) provides a method of identifying industries that employ workers (http//www.census.gov/eos/www/naics).
(a) List and describe this industry and give the NAICS number.
(b) Find a government source of information on the industry and job selected and the salary and also a private source of information on the same industry and job (description and salary). Compare what you have found.
To help you get started, the investigator chose to work in a Machine Shop, NAICS 332710, as an Operations Manager. The investigator prefers to work in California or Florida close to the ocean and salary and cost of living expenses point to Florida as the first choice. From the two sources found an average salary of $60,572 and $53,700.

Figures: Place FIGURE title below the figure. Discuss figure in the text.
Tables: Place TABLE title above the table. Discuss table in the text.

Within the content text, give the source of the material. Your textbook uses a modified MLA style with a number to indicate the source and ENDNOTES to list the source. As a minimum, you may use this technique. If the full MLA or APA style is required, you will be told.
