Using reputable sources on the Internet or print publications, you will need to describe who this person is, what their contribution to the filed of computing was/is, and what the impact on the field of computing and information technology has been.

You will need to identify what the "advancement" was/is and how it functions in terms of what we have covered in lectures and discussions in this course; what is its impact; and how timely that advancement still is. That is, some advancements have been superseded by other advancements. You will need to provide analysis at to its current usage.

Additionally, you will need to identify what the general area of computing this advancement, or contribution, is applied to: Hardware and Fundamentals, Operating Systems, Networking & Web, Security & Cryptography, Programming & Software, Data Management & Storage, or Systems Analysis & Business.

Your analysis should be thorough, yet concise, providing at least ½ page of information for each entry. For the documentation portion of this project, you will need to provide your analysis of each of the following items in a typewritten document. Use Times New Roman, Calibri, or a similar font, set at 12 points, 1.5 spacing with 1" margins, and no extra pre-post line spacing. This document should be free of grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors. Any errors will be penalized with a 2% reduction per error.

More than five (5) errors will result in the project document being returned to the student for correction and resubmission. No grade will be assigned until this requirement can be met.

Additionally, you must cite ALL sources used for each of your entries. You should place these with each entry as you present it.
