intro

This research paper discussed how the Innocence Project Organization helped exonerate Kirk Bloodsworth for a 1985 crime he never committed. The Innocence Project Organization has played a significant role in proving suspects innocence. This research paper described how Bloodsworth was found guilty, was sentenced to death, and his release after serving nine years imprisonment due to DNA evidence proving his innocence. The release from prison was prompted by lack of physical evidence in the court trial, DNA proving innocence, lack of proof of his presence at the crime scene. Innocent people throughout the years have been put in prison due to technology that is subject to human error, manipulation or delay, lack of clear laws, and conflicts in norms. The evidence presented in Kirk Bloodsworth's case did not meet the threshold required for beyond reasonable doubt and putting an innocent person to death penalty is a crime. The fact that someone can be determined guilty based on little knowledge or facts or because of politics is biased because the essential thing is that all accused offenders are entitled to justice.

conclusion

Throughout years, innocent people are serving prison for not convicting the crime as a result of lack of evidence present in the court room and lack of professionalism. The Innocence Project Organization has help many people who are sentence to prison time or death penalty for an improper sentencing due to DNA testing. Kirk Bloodsworth is innocent for the crime he didn't do, the Maryland Board of Public gave $300,000 for the damaged and for being convicted, money don't buy freedom and time he spend. Kirk Bloodsworth is helping other people who are innocence and are in a cell because he knows how does it feel to be in prison for proof of physical evidences, DNA testing, and physical appearance at the crime scene. As Kirk Bloodsworth's case, there is a majority of people who are innocent and are punish for the wrong action from the judge and jurors.
