Part A: Infection Control

Mary has just finished her last client and her feet were aching from her new shoes; she changed into her thongs before helping to clean the treatment rooms and finish the daily closing tasks. Mary was tasked with gathering all the used towels for laundering. She went into the treatment room to gather up all the towels from the bed and on her way out tripped on her thongs and knocked the glass of water the client had left on the floor. Mary fell, dropping the towels, as she hit the floor she felt a sharp pain in her hand, on closer inspection she saw a needle that had been used for extraction next to her hand and her hand was bleeding. You hear Mary scream and you find her sitting on the floor holding her hand.
