Career Research Assignments
You will need to identify a career field (not necessarily a specific job) and write a 2-3 page paper regarding your findings. You should include the following categories in your report, but do not feel limited to them:
- Definition/Nature of the Work
- Working Conditions
- Employment & Job Outlook
- Qualifications and Training
- Typical Earnings
- Related Careers/Occupations
- Your sources/additional sources of information
You should also include remarks regarding the following:
1. How closely did your assumptions about the Career match the information that you found in your research?
2. What values would you associate with this career?
3. Is this career something that you might consider pursuing?
