When we seek to reach a conclusion, we are stating a claim that supports our argument or belief. Beliefs and claims are propositional: they can be expressed in true or false declarative sentences (Moore and Parker, 2016 p.5).

What is the difference between an objective and subjective claim?

2. I have found in some instances, some people criticize ideas but bring nothing to the table. Critical thinking may criticize others ideologies but combat those ideologies with sound judgment, substance and creative thinking.

In your experience, how have creative thinking influenced others thought process?

For example: Gambling is one example: some people believe they have the skill to beat the odds, even though most of the time they cannot. How can managers avoid the illusion of control effect?

4. Managers have to make decision constantly, some are easy, and some are more challenging. Good managers' way the risk and consequences when making decisions to come to up with the right decision that is productive and conducive for the masses. There are 6 stages in the decision-making process, (1) identify and diagnose the problem, (2) generate alternative solutions, (3) evaluate alternatives, (4) make the choice, (5) implement the decision, and (6) evaluate the decision (Bateman and Snell, 2009).

Should manager get employees involved in the decision-making process? Why or Why not?
