Question 1- A 3 phase, 125HP, 440 V inductions motor has a full load efficiency of 86 % and a power factor of 85 %.

Part 1- Calculate the nominal current per phase of the motor under full load.

Question 2- Using the wheel and converting to parallel equivalent impedance.

Part 1- what value of capacitor per phase will correct the Pf to unity for the above motor when operating at full load?

Question 3- Repeat question 2 above if the motor is at 25% load. Recall that less load means more impedance.
