While test driving several models, Mark told Harold, “I`m leaving this entire decision to you except you are not to spend over $20,000 on any car you purchase for me”. At the Toyota dealer, Mark told the salesperson, “I`m turning this decision to buy a car over to Harold, so deal with him exclusively in his purchase of car for me”. Later, Mark signed a contract for the purchase of a Toyota for Mark for $22,000. Is Mark liable to the Toyota dealer for $22,000? Why or why not? PLEASE EXPLAIN IN DETAIL.
