Brainstorming:  generate lots of ideas (# to be specified) and wacky ideas for a given challenge utilizing headlining  (= brief, descriptive title for the idea shown above or below the sketch); and sketching (=informal, pictorial representation of the idea vs. all textual description)

For this competency test, you will be tasked with generating at least 30 ideas in support of the Water Tower design project, in which you are asked to build and deliver your water tower to the center of a 10'x10' area using some or all of a list of allowed supplies.  As a team, brainstorm at least 30 ideas for "How might we construct our water tower?"  Then, individually, submit the following items (each team member must submit a separate assignment):

1. In about a paragraph, briefly describe your team's brainstorming process (when did you do it, where were you, who was there, how did you capture the ideas (e.g., did you use post-its), etc.) 2. Your team's 30 ideas, captured in the attached sheets (before you decide to meet to brainstorm print out the attached sheets); put one idea per box, remembering to use headlining and sketching (remember, sketching means that you draw the idea, and headlining means that you include a brief, text-based description of the more detailed idea (either text-based or sketched) written at the top or the bottom of the box).  NOTE:  each team member needs to submit the generated ideas (we know they might be the same for all team members, but each team member must turn in the ideas, no photocopies). You will attach a picture/scanned copy of your ides with the assignment. 3. Identify the wackiest idea with a dotted line circle drawn around the idea 4. Identify the most feasible idea with a box drawn around the idea

The grading rubric for how this competency test will be assessed is attached, along with a provided sheet for capturing you're the ideas your team generated during brainstorming.
