Explain the similarities and differences between substance addictions and process addictions in their biopsychosocial development and treatment.

Describe the ethical controversy in substance abuse counseling with respect to implementing research-based practice counseling techniques and best-practice counseling techniques. Provide one example of how you might transform a research-based technique into a best-practice technique with minimal ethical constraints.

Include at least three scholarly references in addition to the textbook in your paper.
