Developed under the auspices of United States Department of Defence Advanced Research Project Agency (ARPA), one purpose was to give a "communications network that would work even if some of sites were destroyed by nuclear attack".
However, with time, the purpose of internet is found to have undergone the paradigm shift and this has impacted on the manner communication happens globally. The Internet has irrevocably changed the way we communicate with one another. While some of these alter have been positive and others detrimental, if one thing is certain, it is that communication will ever is same again.
