After many weeks of preparation the final bids are due today at 2:00pm. At 9:00am in the morning, a trusted subcontractor calls you and asks if you are still bidding the job. They explain that a competitor of yours is telling all the subcontractors that you have dropped out of the bid and not to waste their time sending their quotes to you.
