Pay structure architecture (pay grades, pay ranges, and pay width)
Ratio of base pay to incentive (bonus) pay
Emphases on external equity or internal equity
Principle type of benefits to include (example: deferred compensation match, health insurance, vacation and sick leave, etc.)
