Please use the APA Sample provided in Unit 1 to complete your assignment. Also use the LIRN to find research and evidence that supports your thoughts and ideas.
According to Kavaler and Alexander (2014), the need model of managing risks relies on a total assessment of the healthcare setting in order to identify potential flaws that could create harm. For the first part of this assignment, identify and discuss the 3 core principles of this model. For the second part, identify 2 sources of risk in an outpatient based surgical facility. Using the core principles, how can these risks be mitigated. Make sure that your recommendation is logical and sound.
The document should be prepared consistent with the APA writing style (6th edition) and reflect higher level cognitive processing (analysis, synthesis and or evaluation). A workbook has been provided for you to use as a tool to help you with selecting one of these methods and the criteria for writing the paper. You do not have to turn the workbook in but it will be helpful to you.
