Use Microsoft WORD and draw a simple basic sketch of a model rocket.
Use a 1:1 scale.
•The maximum height should be 6 inches.
•The maximum width of the footprint should be 3 inches.
•Show the dimensions on your drawing as true dimensions.

•Develop a flowchart of the major operations involved in the construction of the product that was introduced in Learning Module One.

Operation Number: Refers to the sequence in which the job is done, such as 1, 2, 3, and so on.

Number of Employees: Refers to how many people are assigned to each operation. If the operation is automated then the number of employees would be None. If there is one person at the operation then the number of employees would be One. If it takes a team of two people to perform the operation then the number of employees would be Two. And so on.

List of all Equipment Required: Refers to all the equipment used at the operation. It includes machines, conveyors, hand tools, work tables or benches, chairs, and any other piece of equipment necessary to do the operation. If a conveyor is used between two operations, then only list that conveyor at the first operation it is used. In other words, if three conveyors are used to link four operations, then a conveyor would be listed at each of the first three operations but not at the fourth operation.

List of all Materials Required: Refers to all the items necessary to make the product that are introduced into the product at a specific operation. After an item has been made part of the product at one operation it is not listed at subsequent operations because it is already part of the product. Materials include everything that actually becomes a part of the product, or that is shipped to the customer with the product. It does not include items such as an incoming box that is used to contain small parts because that box will be put into the trash can when it is empty. However, the small parts in the box will become part of the product and they should be included.

If you submit any type of file other than a Microsoft WORD document it WILL be declined.

Note: Enter the word "None" if an item is not required at an operation.
