Identify and discuss a new law from the current or most recent legislative session pertaining to Texas Community Colleges on a topic of personal interest. How will the new law impact you as a student? What was the back story that created motivation for this particular legislation? Who supported it and who was against it? What are the goals of the new law? How likely is it to be successful? Is there language you would like to see amended? What aspects of the law are most likely going to be reformed in the next legislative session?
