After thinking about and discussing the Barbara Kingsolver quote, please further respond to the concept of "community." Please apply Kingsolver's definition of community to American society and culture today. Where does society need to apply her definition in order to solve a problem or address a social issue? In your paper be sure to clearly explain her contrasting notions of heroism, the 'food chain', and her ideas of connectedness and responsibility.
