The table below represents the raw data for developing a project schedule. Generate the PERT Chart showing earliest/latest start/complete free/total float for each task. Create a CPM diagram for the project and identify the critical path. Generate a Gantt chart showing total floats for all tasks. Try to optimize task scheduling to minimize the number of hiring's and firings (calculate the number), and draw the resulting manpower chart. Using a labor rate of $50/hr ($2000/wk) per head, generate a cumulative expenditure curve for the duration of the project.

Deliverables:

• Critical values- minimum Project Completion (PC) time, Total project cost ($)

• CPM Diagram- Show critical path; Identify task symbol & duration

• PERT chart- ES, EC, LS, LC, TF, FF for each task

• Gantt chart- Schedule to minimize staff turnover

• Manpower chart- Showing the headcount required in each week/day of the projectr

• Cumulative Expenditure curve- Using Gantt chart schedule; burn rate from pert chart

You should include a copy of well-organized supporting documentation for the creation of each of these management tools.

Resource Data:

Use a labor rate of $2100/week per engineer. Headcount is expressed in engineer labor force for each task and the listed duration.
