Short Essay Assignment on Policy Problems (approx. 2 pages)

In a short essay, or using a question and answer format, choose one of the following policy issues we've studied (economic inequality, election reform or health care) and answer the following questions, based on the information you learned from class discussions, the text and course materials (linked in the modules). DO NOT USE ANY OTHER SOURCES FOR THIS PAPER.

1. What is the problem? What are the most significant causes of this problem? Use facts and analysis from the textbook and assigned articles to support your answer.

2. What solutions do you think would help address the problem? What obstacles or challenges are there to implementing this solution? Make sure your proposed solutions address the problem you discussed in question 1. (Use the class materials and our class discussions to help you answer this question)
