Select one prompt below that you most strongly connect with and write your honest reflection in response.

· Prompt 1: Think about the things you feel you can't do well. For instance, maybe you don't think you're good at math, or that you can't write or draw. What happens when you have to do these things? Does what you believe about yourself as a learner have any effect on how you perform? Now that you have explored the concept of a growth vs. fixed mindset, will your outlook change the next time you face a similar task? What will you do differently?

· Prompt 2: How quickly do you give up on something? Imagine you're working on a difficult task. How long do you work on it before you decide you can't do it? Give an example of a time that you didn't stick it out and persevere to accomplish a task. As you face similar situations, what growth mindset self-talk will you use when you're stuck? Reference the chart in Week Three Guidance for ideas.

· Prompt 3: Have you ever learned something you didn't think you could learn? What was it and what strategies did you use to help yourself be successful? How did you feel once you had learned it? How can you use this experience to build resilience as you face difficult tasks in your courses ahead?
