Desire: Did the ad create a desire for the product/service? Action: Did you take action to purchase the product or did it change your mind about the product? According to advertising experts, and ad must contain all parts of AIDA in order to be truly effective. Just because an ad is funny or entertaining, does no necessarily make it an effective add.
