Now that a decision has been made to outsource, there are a few steps before the work commences. First, it is recommended that at least 3 different vendors are solicited with a request for proposal (RFP). This RFP should include scope of the project and proposed time, along with other important sections. The statement of work will thoroughly outline all of the work you are requesting of the selected RFP. You will be researching templates for both the RFP and the statement of work that work best for your selected project.

Primary Task Response: Within the Discussion Board area, write 350-600 words that respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. This will be the foundation for future discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear, and use examples to reinforce your ideas.

Research at least 2 sources (which may include your textbook) to support your response.

•Research and present at least 2 templates for request for proposal (RFP) that most closely align with your Key Assignment project.

•Research and present at least 2 templates for statement of work (SOW) that most closely aligns with your Key Assignment project.

•Research and present at least 2 templates for procurement contract award that most closely aligns with your Key Assignment project.

•Why is using standard templates for the statement of work, RFP, and procurement contract award so important?
