Assignment
Meet with a child between the ages of three and six. Read a story aloud to the child and then ask the child to retell the story. Write a three paragraph reflection on the retell, including the following components:
• Paragraph one - Overview the experience and the types of information the child included in the retell.
• Paragraph two - Analyze the child's retell and focus on the strategic actions the child was utilizing.
• Paragraph three - Make recommendations for future instruction based on the child's retell.
Support your statements with evidence from the required studies and your research. Cite and reference your sources in APA style.
