Your article, blog posting, podcast, video clip must be recent (within the past six months, preferably within the past 30 days).
Write a critical analysis of your current news source. A critical analysis is NOT a summary. A critical analysis includes:
Main Point: What are the main points the author is making in the article (blog, podcast, video) about your selected topic? What are the key assumptions that the author is making? How does the article address the topic for which you selected it?
Evidence: What evidence or information is given to support the points, inferences, statements, or arguments? Is the evidence a fact or a measurement about something that has occurred? Are the data or measurements included in the article? If so, what are they?
Reliability/ Credibility: What is the source of the information? Is the author an authority on the topic? If so, what are the author's credentials? Why is the author a reliable/credible source (or isn't a reliable/credible source)?
Agree/Disagree: Do you agree or disagree with the article? Why? Support your answer with information in the required reading.
Include the complete citation in APA format.
