Assignment:

In this project, your teams are consulting companies advising corporations on the substance and public perception of their corporate social responsibility efforts. Teams should choose a global corporation from the list of choices your professor provides and report on the corporation's efforts and results in the areas of corporate social responsibility. The team's report should address the following:

1. Does the company have a stated policy on corporate social responsibility?

2. What is the company doing to be socially responsible?

3. Evaluate the company's CSR efforts. What can the company do to improve its
corporate social responsibility behavior and/or reputation? As a consulting company, make sure that you make specific recommendations.

Each team should prepare its analysis in a PowerPoint presentation of no more than 10 slides (not counting title page and reference page). Along with your Power Point presentation, you should include a 10 double-spaced page script of what you will say while each slide is displayed. You should key your script to the slides. Please do not use any animation, video, sound, or fade-ins or outs in your Power Point.

You must incorporate at least three of the readings/multi-media resources in your analysis as well as additional research to support your views and recommendations. All references must be cited using proper APA citation format.

Each team should post its presentation and script in a topic in the team assignment folder by 11:59 PM on the final day of class. Each team member is also required to post his or her individual contribution to the team's project in the topic area. The actual contribution must be posted, so faculty can review it. If you do not post your individual contribution, you may not get credit for the assignment. Posting a narrative of what you contributed is not sufficient.
