In the ever-changing business environment, it is essential to plan proactively. Good management skill is critical. In order to let you practice on planning and controlling skills, select one of the following scenarios and write a plan according to the recommended structure.

A. To prepare an itinerary for a group of 10 staff / friends / family members, it can be a business trip or pleasure trip but it must be of at least 6 days

B. To organize "annual reward dinner" for employees (at least 50) who meet or exceed company sales target as motivation and recognition of their work / "annual dinner" by year end to appreciate for their hard work and also announce company future plan

C. To provide in-house training to a group of 10 newly recruited customer service officers so that they can better understand company culture, mission and vision etc.

You are required to select one of the above listed situations (A to C). It can be for any business organization or a group of people you prefer (name of the organization or preferred group must be submitted to Ms. Irene Lee on or before session 4 for approval before writing). It is recommended to select the organization that you know well.

Base on the above situation, you need to furnish a document with the following headings: (you can have more headings than my suggestions; submission must be in report format; no word limit; typed)

1. Simple introduction of the business organization or the background of the group of people

2. Situational analysis of the scenario (SWOT)

3. Indicate clearly the aim / goal / objective (at least one) for this plan (why)

4. Prepare an action plan for the situation (it needs to include how you will organize and lead your staff or friends or family members until execution day) (When, Who, What, How, Where)

5. Set control measure for your action plan (at least 2 measure)

Upon completion, ensure that you include the followings on your first page of report: Title of your report (name of organization and/or description of situation) and Your full name and student number being shown as the author of the report and Date of submission
