Nationally, however, public support for the death penalty has fallen in recent years, as has the number of executions.
B. Majority of Americans in the United States believe that the death penalty should be abolished
C. Let's look at some problems why the death penalty should be abolished and later discuss a solution.

a. Let's talk money the cost of tax payer per person sentenced to death is higher than the cost of someone serving a life sentence.
