Compare and contrast elected and appointed law enforcement positions. With regard to law enforcement labor-management relations, identify and explain three major issues that must be addressed by leadership during the labor-management negotiation process.

Compare and contrast the differences between elected and appointed leadership positions and explain the impact on law enforcement labor-management relations issues in relation to each position.

Finally, discuss how the form of government (i.e., council, mayoral, or managerial) differs in terms of the influence that may be applied to an elected versus appointed leader.

The paper must be three to five pages in length (excluding the title and reference pages) and formatted according to APA style. You must use at least two scholarly resources (at least one from the Ashford Online Library) other than the textbook to support your claims and subclaims.
