When starting to prepare a presentation, it is important to conduct research on your topic and do some prewriting or free writing. Creating an outline of the presentation helps you to be clear on the type of presentation, the intended audience, the purpose, and the main points you wish to make.
Based on the readings for this unit and your personal experience as a speaker or audience member, what 2 pieces of advice do you have to offer your classmates on any of these aspects of presentation preparation?
