Consider the following questions and record your thoughts and ideas in your learning journal:

1. Recall a time when you felt very inspired, engaged and "alive" as a learner - when you felt that you were particularly receptive to new learning and ideas.

2. What made this experience different than other experiences that you have had as a student? What qualities or attributes made this experience unique?

3. How does your positive learning experience relate to the notion of "mindful learning" that is described in the week's notes and in Ellen Langer's chapter? Are there similarities? Are there differences?

4. How comfortable are you with the premise that "right answers" don't exist in CYC practice? What personal and/or cultural factors contribute to your comfort or discomfort?
