Career...There are several varieties of jobs available through a Sheriff's office, such as Detention Officers in the jail, Patrol Deputies, Detectives, Civil, Administrative, etc. All of these jobs are integral cogs in the machine creating successful law enforcement and community management.

Create a post describing the services and jobs available in your local Sheriffs Office or Police Department.

Research the cost by visiting city and/or county websites and discuss operational costs in relation to the state of the nation's economy.

Part 2 Current.....If you enter the field of law enforcement, you may one day have to consider using deadly force on another person, either in self-defense or to save others.
