• Based on the video, did the company presented in the video allow a breach of security based on the laws and ideas discussed in the text? Why or why not? What was done to help remedy the situation, and was it enough based on the legal standard? I wholeheartedly believe that Target should be held liable for the breach in security based on the video. Target put a system in place to combat cyber attacks and theirmalware did just that and they ignored it. FireEye is the name of the system that the CIA developed to prevent breach of security in retailers and it was far ahead of many other retailers. The system worked because it detected the invasion of the software. It tried to notify the security team and the retailer and the alerts were unnoticed until the government investigation was brought to their attention about their cyber security. Target had assess to tons of people credit information and so did the hackers.
