Answer the questions thoroughly after reading the first item in the Examinations folder on the class website. It gives instructions for answering questions.

3. Consumers now have access to hundreds of television channels and thousands of shows on demand. The average person cannot deal with the amount of viewing available, so some programs and networks are ignored. Using the analytical problem solving techniques from this course, discuss what you would do to solve the problem. Please be clear as to which steps you are using in your discussion. 4. Select a person who has complained to you about feeling powerless (or use yourself, if you have felt this way). Give a one paragraph description of the situation, but do not give real names. 5. Read the case, "Joe Chaney," at the end of Chapter 6.

a. Discuss your individual assessment of Joe's performance.

6. Read the case, "Can Larry Fit In?" following chapter 7.

a. Select the most appropriate conflict management strategy, using Table 7.4 as your guide.
