7. Identify three challenges associated with downsizing an organization and best practices for overcoming thesechallenges.

8. Case Study Question: Considering the HealthCo case study from your textbook identify three key issues underlying the problem, and suggest what HR might recommend so that HealthCo can become a top company in terms of work-life. What role must line managers and supervisors play in achieving this outcome?

9. Using the building blocks for a learning organization identified by Garvin, Edmonson and Gino (2008), discuss whether or not you believe your organization is a learning organization. If so, what specific examples from your organization can you identify that illustrate the building blocks? If no, what suggestions would you make for your organization to develop the building blocks?
