2. What techniques does Schlosser use to introduce and cite evidence from his resources? What techniques does he use to explain why these illustrations and facts support his argument?

3. Why does he make his argument in the ways that he does (consider his organization of chapters, the organization of content within chapters, etc.)? What does his use of these strategies say to us about his conception of audience?

4. Notice how much of the book is left after reading the "Afterword"--how does Schlosser's inclusion of his notes and photo credits help establish his credibility? In what ways is this similar to the work(s) cited pages you create for your MLA formatted papers in English courses?
