Assignment: Speech Review

Instructions

You must select and review two great speeches delivered by two different individuals. They must be speeches that were delivered by two important American politician, political leaders, or former U.S. Presidents.

Specific instructions

You will complete a 2-page review of each speech. Use sub-headings. Approximately, a 5-page for the review of the two speeches is required not including the title page and the reference page. Analyze/review the speeches independently with headings based on the below:

a. Analyze the speakers' use persuasion and tell if they were based on logic.

b. Discuss the worldview each speaker based his/her persuasion.

c. Did each speaker get the attention of the American people? Explain

d. Explain/discuss the problem(s) or situations the U.S. or each speaker faced and sought to fix/solve.

e. Explain/discuss the solutions to the problems or situations the speakers provided.

f. Did the speakers call the American people to action? Explain

The paper must be written in current Turabian format. Each speech must have a minimum of three references. If you reference a book or article, you must indicate the page number of the quotation or paraphrased lines or sentences. You must include the links for your chosen speeches or videos along with your review.
