Assignment: Professional Practice and Organisational Behaviour

The process of preparing and delivering our team's presentation'.

You should make reference to theoretical models from three of the following five areas of Organizational Behaviour theory:

• Groups and team development

• Motivation

• Individual differences and perception

• Learning at work

• International dimensions of organizational behaviour.

Throughout the module I encourage you to keep a learning journal in which to reflect on how you are getting on in your team, and to note significant insights as they occur. You will be able to draw on this raw material when prepare your assignment.

Write your assignment as an essay (no paragraph numbers), but use a few subheadings to help the reader follow your line of reasoning. It should be about 2,500 words or equivalent in length. It must be typed using just one side of the page, the text should be double-spaced, and the pages should be numbered.

The marking criteria that your Seminar Tutor uses to assess your individual assignment are as follows:

1. Clear observation of organizational behaviour within your presentation team, including your own behaviour.

2. Quality of links made between events in the team and models from the required aspects of organizational behaviour theory.

3. Assignment is well-written and referenced, making clear that a range of relevant reading has been undertaken and been well-understood.
