Intercultural Contexts (i.e., Health Care; Business)

• You are not limited to these areas-they are just examples!

? Your assignment is to research the questions listed below for your chosen culture.

Be as precise and thorough as you can in answering each question.

The final product of this activity/assignment will take the form of a written outline, video/documentary or presentation.

Each presentation should be 4-6 minutes.

? A copy of your outline should be turned in before your presentation.

Questions to Address in Your Presentation

1. What are some specific norms in your culture? (greetings; honorifics)
2. What are the beliefs or belief system of your culture? (What is true for the culture?)
3. What does the culture value? (Standards for individuals/group)

Review of Specific Requirements:

1. You will turn in your outline before your presentation.
2. You will also turn in a work cited containing three sources.
3. Your presentation will be approximately 4-6 minutes.
4. You will teach us about the values, beliefs, and norms of your chosen culture.
