Re: United States- Iranian Foreign Relations

Mr. President and other esteemed members of the Council, I, as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, have ordered a full review of the future of United States- Iranian relations, both present and in the projected future. Specifically, the Chiefs of Staff of each Armed Service, their staff, and myself have reviewed the three particular issues under the current scope of examination, and our analysis is as follows:

The United States has concerns with Iran on multiple issues that Iran is conducts within its borders that America consider to cause harm to the world in general. One issue is the nuclear program that the county has. America considers that a volatile nation like Iran should not possess such power without monitoring. Iran however does not have regard about any of the treaties that America want them to be signatories to. They have ignored every measure that the America has put in front of them and have decided not abide to the treaties. Iran considers its self as independent state that does not need monitoring from countries like America. The fear with America is that Iran does not share its concern on terrorism matters that affect the security of the world. These differences have strained relations between the two nations making them go to extents of bitter rivals.

The United States can address the issue through showing respect to Iran and understanding that it is an independent nation that does not need intervention on how to run its issues. America being the world largest economy and world super power handles its matters with Iran by taking the route of bullying Iran to adopt the policies America presents. However, Iran is a proud nation and will not abide to policies that are forced upon them by America. To address the issues of the strange relationship between Iran and America, the two nations need to have civil meeting where logic and reason should prevail. When this is accomplished, it will greatly help amend the strained relation between the two nations, and with this improve world peace.

The councils goals is for continued world peace and this will not be realized when two nations are estranged. The council therefore acts as an unbiased intermediary trying to resolve the conflict between America and Iran. Through this the council's objectives can be realized and their most important objectives of world peace takes root. The council wishes for the two nations to have respect for the others opinions and through that have civil discussion that are productive where a common agreement can be made.
