Assignment: "Informal" Observation Reflection of SS

As we get closer to the end of the course:

In this assignment, you are to "informally observe" your site supervisor in whatever capacity you are able, if you can, in a counseling session and write a reflection on this experience.

What has changed as your professionally collaborated and consulted with your site supervisor in the early weeks and, now?

Let your site supervisor know that you will be making informal notes about his/her basic skills and things you observe. You should reflect on each skill that the site supervisor demonstrated.

After observing your site supervisor, you should discuss at your next meeting. This assignment is meant to facilitate reflection during observation.

Write a 2-3 page APA reflection on the basic skills listed, along with how you plan to utilize what was learned through observation and apply it when in practice. Please refer to the rubric.

Your reflection should include a detailed reflection on and what your observed or did not observe.
