Assignment: Human Resource Management Overview

Using the course readings, articles, and your personal experiences, address the role of human resource management.

Write a six to eight page paper in which you:

1. Determine key roles that human resource management plays in the health care field.

2. Evaluate three to five functions of human resource management in terms of their level of support to the health care field, and then select which one you believe is the primary function in furthering the health care field.

3. Analyze the role of human resource management in an organization's strategic plan.

• According to the textbook, the current world economy is increasingly becoming integrated and interdependent; as a result, the relationship between business and society is becoming more complex. Use the Internet to research Apple or another organization. Use a tablet, smartphone, laptop, desktop, or traditional video recorder to record a five to seven minute dynamic video on the assignment requirements detailed below. Alternatively, you may submit a four to six page paper instead of the video submission.

4. Submit a reference page with at least four quality references that you have used for this presentation / paper.
