Assignment Details

Consider an organization and a role within that organization that would be your dream job.

You have been invited to participate in a panel interview that will include at least five employees from your dream organization.

Identify your audience by specifying which managers, executives, or others are likely to participate in such an interview.

Create a presentation, 6-10 slides in length, for your potential employer. As you are interviewing for your future "dream job" and it is necessary to present your qualifications to this hiring team.

Include 1-2 slides as an overview of the organization and the job for which you are applying

Also, include an introduction slide about you

At least 3 slides highlighting your skills and experience as they relate to your dream job

If you do not currently have the knowledge/skills necessary for your dream job, identify the path that you are on in attaining any skills that would be necessary for your dream job.

In other words, potential employers are always interested in hearing about your motivations and plans in professional and personal growth. Some graphical illustration of your path to the future you would be useful in this presentation.

Be sure to highlight how your unique qualities would be valuable to their company.

A summary slide that ties your knowledge/skills to the dream job that you specified in the organization overview

Your presentation must include an audio recording of you summarizing your presentation and thanking the employer for their time. You do not need to record audio for every slide, only for the summary.

Each slide must have presenter notes that explain the content of the slide as if you were presenting the information.

Show evidence that you have considered your audience when deciding how to communicate your message effectively.

Use at least 5 of the following tools in your slide presentation:

Table
