Select a company that has a project management office and uses outside vendors for specific services or products. Imagine you have been hired as a consultant to help this company's project management office improve its procurement processes. Specifically, imagine you have been asked to review current risk management practices with the goal of proposing a new model for reducing and mitigating procurement risks on projects that source part of the work to third party vendors.

Create a visual model that reflects the key elements of the procurement risk management process, and the important relationships between its elements as well as internal stakeholders.

Then, create a MS PowerPoint presentation, in which you explain your approach to procurement risk management in a PMO context for the chosen company. Your presentation should:

• Be directed at senior management, including the director of the PMO
• Address the company's specific products or services that are procured and the vendors used
• Explain the types of risks the PMO is likely to encounter and how they can be managed
• Include your visual procurement risk management model and a full explanation of the assumptions, principles, and expected outcomes behind the model
• Include examples from similar companies or contexts that have used your model with positive outcomes
• Include full speaker notes, 200-250 words per slide, and references where appropriate.

Length: 10-12 slides, not including cover page and references.

Support your presentation with minimum of five (5) scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.

Your presentation should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Be sure to adhere to Northcentral University's Academic Integrity Policy.
